Executive, Business Development (1 Vacancy)


Selangor - Petaling Jaya


  • Manages all relationship management activities for existing corporate clients in the assigned business segment.
  • Identifies business opportunities and solicits referrals.
  • Coordinates and execute the business development programs and call schedules.
  • Manages client negotiations; pricing of the product within the target rate of return; proper documentation and closing the transaction; and compliance and conformance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitors and analyzes relationship plan results and account activities.
  • Develops solutions for problem accounts.
  • To prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients.
  • To plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum five years of sales experience in the travel services industry or other industry
  • Possess a pleasant personality, passionate about people and ability to travel will be an advantageous
  • Excellent in both written and spoken English is a minimum prerequisite
  • Strong understanding of all products and services applicable to target client segment
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable policies and procedures
  • Thorough knowledge of all organization products and operations
  • Demonstrated sales and marketing skills and abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in teams

    TTSTC Hotel Istana, Kuala Lumpur

    Job Description

  • Handle walk-in client request (local tours, outbound packages, ticketing, visa, entrance tickets & reservations)
  • Handle all clients in regardless of any situation with courtesy, polite and calm manner
  • Daily closing report to HQ before 6 pm
  • Submit invoices with complete supporting documents to HQ on weekly basis
  • Submit Sales & Quotation report on weekly basis
  • Handle on-going work responsibilities assigned at HQ
  • Ensure that travel centre is never leave unattended at any time during operation hour
  • All calls to hotline number must be attended immediately or return call within 1 hour if you got missed call
  • Air Asia & Firefly booking must use the specific Login given for Istana Branch
  • Submit ticket sales on GDS on Daily basis before end of the day
  • Ticket issue in HQ must have Exchange Order and email the copy to PIC cc to Ticketing HOD within the same day of issuance

    Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post. Graduate Degree in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Required Skills: Microsoft Office, Selling Skills, Customer Service, Communication Skills, Positive Attitude.
  • Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Advance knowledge of applicable policies and procedures
  • Good working attitude and pleasant personality
  • Meticulous, careful yet efficient
  • Ability to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia
  • Working hours: 9 am – 6 pm (Monday- Friday), 9am -1pm (Saturday)
